He was hired for content creation and now works for Dopex. Options are a financial tool and derivative of holding an underlying asset, and Dopex is looking to change the space with options.

What alternatives do users have to centralized entities? w/ Jean Miao from MUX Protocol
Jean is a core contributor to the MUX Protocol, a DeFi project that works on leveraged trading, otherwise known as perpetual swaps.
She explains that perpetual swaps are a derivative that allow traders to bet on the price movement of an underlying asset.
She emphasizes the importance of understanding the risks associated with leverage and the cost of perpetual swaps.
She also mentions that the on-chain trading space is still relatively small compared to CEXs and that market education needs to be enhanced to onboard new users.
Lastly, she explains that MUX is an AMM model for perpetual swaps and that balancing the risks between the traders and the LPs is essential.

He joined Saison Capital in 2022 and has opinions on the Binance BUSD FUD, DeFi growth, Solana's current state, Layer 1 and 2 plays, the Aptos Ecosystem hackathon, Korea, Japan, and NFT hype.
He believes institutions will invest more in crypto once regulation occurs.
